Dayananda Sagar Institutions envisages a powerful and successful future for the students who enter its portals. As a part of this vision the Institution has various bodies and training centers constituted to develop the overall personality of the student. Placements are a very important aspect of this development. At Dayananda Sagar placements are given utmost importance and Department of Training and Placements strives hard to bring in top most companies to hire its students. It also trains to students to face these top companies recruitment process. It has Centre for Innovation and Leadership in-house training facility which trains students in soft skills, communication skills, team management skills, interpersonal skills, team building skills etc.
Aligning with the vision of the institution, the Department of MCA, since its inception has always been striving hard to train and equip the students to face the tough competition the students face with their peers. Department aims at Improving Employability Skills and Industry Preparedness. We not only guide the students to choose the right career but also motivate them to perform well during the hiring process Many of our Alumni are in great positions and serving the Industry Nationally and Globally.
Aspiring to bridge the gap between Industry and academia and equip students in the latest technologies, we organize various value added programs like workshops, webinars, seminars, training programs and student activities under our each Center of Excellences.
Soft skills like communication skills, email etiquette, inter personal skills, interview facing skills are dealt in the class rooms by the faculty and the various invited speakers through the activities and talks.
Pre-Placement activities are conducted every week to prepare the students to face the various rounds of campus placements. Various activities conducted are

The Department of MCA, joined hands with various startups and established companies to help the students in getting Internships & Placements. As a part of this endeavor there were MOUs signed with various companies. These companies provided internships, trainings to the students and also recruitment based on their individual performances.

CIL ACTIVITIES:
Our Placements and Training Department has an Exclusive In house Training division - Centre for Innovation and Leadership (CIL) which provides training and support to the students for placements. The aim is to improve the presentation skills and Soft skills. The students are trained in various soft skills and pre-placement activities, the students gain confidence and skills required to face the placements. Various speakers and trainers are invited to train the students.
